Terms and Conditions – An overview

  • Cherish provides a range of multiple floral designs for Weddings, Funerals, Events and Occasions.
  • We are able to provide corporate packages on request.
  • Please note that Cherish is not VAT registered.
  • Any addition in number of floral arrangements required after confirmation of the booking, will incur an extra cost, over and above the invoiced amount.
  • Types of flowers, their cost, their suitability and their availability will be discussed prior to our quote. Any changes made to the types of flowers already agreed and accepted will be subject to additional charges if they prove to be more expensive.
  • Payment terms include a non-refundable deposit, payable when placing an order.
  • The date of balance due is dependant on each separate category being ordered.
  • Each category of Weddings, Funerals, Events and Occasions has its own definitive set of detailed Terms and Conditions specifically relevant to that area.
  • All arrangements will be made off site and delivered complete, unless unusually large.
  • Delivery and collection charges are dependant upon proximity of location.
  • Once delivered and set up (in place), Cherish accepts no responsibility for subsequent damage to these arrangements or any liability as a result of any accidents involving any of these arrangements.
  • Cherish can hire candles, containers and candelabras on your behalf at an additional expense.
  • On collection, any damages to hired items or those loaned from Cherish Floral Design necessitating repairs or replacement after delivery and set up thereof at the venue and prior to collection will be deemed to be the responsibility of the customer and the cost duly invoiced after the event. Payment for this to be received within 28 days.
  • All flowers and foliage sourced both locally and abroad are subject to seasonal availability.
  • If there are known allergies to specific flowers or foliage this must be stated at the time of commissioning the floral displays.
  • Costings include labour and time required to set up floral displays at the chosen venues.
  • Costings also include sundries: containers and conditioning of the flowers and foliage.
  • Costings reflect the current market and therefore will fluctuate at certain times of the year due to price increases at times on and around:
    • Valentine’s Day
    • Easter
    • Mother’s Day (UK)
    • Christmas
    • New Year (UK and Chinese)
    • Other religious celebratory dates
    • Unforeseen events such as volcanic clouds that disrupt the transportation of flowers from growers to wholesalers.
    • Other celebratory dates in countries where the flowers and foliage are sourced as this may impact the flowers export price to the UK.
  • Costings are affected by the size and type of event.
